DESCRIPTION:The Caregiver Closet is a resource available to caregivers and veterans in Park Rapids and the surrounding areas. \nThe items provided by the Caregiver Closet include durable medical equipment\, both reusable medical supplies and one-time use supplies. The items are offered free of charge\, with the expectation that the items will be returned to the Caregiver Closet (if they are reusable) when they are no longer needed\, so they can be redistributed. \nThe Caregiver Closet can include\, at any given time\, canes\, walkers\, commodes\, shower benches\, crutches\, hospital beds\, lift chairs\, Hoyer lifts\, and so much more. All equipment is clean and ready to go in “as is” condition. \nEquipment and supply use are free. Donations are tax deductible.

DESCRIPTION:To facilitate local and tourist shopping\, several of the downtown businesses have agreed to stay open later than usual on Wednesdays. You may remember that this happens during Christmas time for several stores\, and several local businesses have decided to extend their hours starting in June and running through the end of December. \nEach business can choose to remain open\, and the availability of stores will vary based on staffing. Participating stores will stay open later\, some until 7 PM.

SUMMARY:Aerial Sling
DESCRIPTION:Ages 8-18 \nThe aerial sling\, also known as an aerial hammock\, is a versatile apparatus. It is similar to aerial silks (such as in Cirque Du Soleil) but it is one piece of fabric\, looped at the bottom and easier to start with. Participants will learn basic placements and transitions of this relatively new art form in this upbeat class which includes warm up\, cool down and stretching. Pull up strength is not a requirement\, but this class may inspire you to strengthen your core and upper body!\nWear tight fitting clothing with a t-shirt long enough to be tucked in and that covers the armpits. Students must wipe off their feet and remove all jewelry before using the fabrics.\n*Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class.\n*Parent/Guardian signature required for anyone under 18.
