DESCRIPTION:Open Swim and Lap Swim through Park Rapids Community Ed. No Swimming on Holidays \nOpen Swim: Is available for ages 7 and older. Younger students can swim if an adult is in the water with him/her. Please come dressed in your suit\, bring your towel and goggles (if you want) and be ready for some fun! You are encouraged to come dressed in your suit but the locker rooms will be available. Pre-registration is required. Must register by Wed. before open swim. DESCRIPTION:The Caregiver Closet is a resource available to caregivers and veterans in Park Rapids and the surrounding areas. \nThe items provided by the Caregiver Closet include durable medical equipment\, both reusable medical supplies and one-time use supplies. The items are offered free of charge\, with the expectation that the items will be returned to the Caregiver Closet (if they are reusable) when they are no longer needed\, so they can be redistributed. \nThe Caregiver Closet can include\, at any given time\, canes\, walkers\, commodes\, shower benches\, crutches\, hospital beds\, lift chairs\, Hoyer lifts\, and so much more. All equipment is clean and ready to go in “as is” condition. \nEquipment and supply use are free. Donations are tax deductible.

DESCRIPTION:To facilitate local and tourist shopping\, several of the downtown businesses have agreed to stay open later than usual on Wednesdays. You may remember that this happens during Christmas time for several stores\, and several local businesses have decided to extend their hours starting in June and running through the end of December. \nEach business can choose to remain open\, and the availability of stores will vary based on staffing. Participating stores will stay open later\, some until 7 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a rousing volleyball match! This course is geared for volleyball players with some previous experience\, not beginning players. Must be 18 or older. Teams are formed based on who comes to play each night. Knee pads recommended – please bring your own. \n  \nVolleyball is held on Wednesdays beginning September 3 from 7-10 pm at the Century Middle School Gym.\nThere will be no volleyball on Nov. 26 & Dec. 24 & 31. Pay $1 per time to the facilitator.
