DESCRIPTION:Ages 8-18 \nThe aerial sling\, also known as an aerial hammock\, is a versatile apparatus. It is similar to aerial silks (such as in Cirque Du Soleil) but it is one piece of fabric\, looped at the bottom and easier to start with. Participants will learn basic placements and transitions of this relatively new art form in this upbeat class which includes warm up\, cool down and stretching. Pull up strength is not a requirement\, but this class may inspire you to strengthen your core and upper body!\nWear tight fitting clothing with a t-shirt long enough to be tucked in and that covers the armpits. Students must wipe off their feet and remove all jewelry before using the fabrics.\n*Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class.\n*Parent/Guardian signature required for anyone under 18.

The items are offered free of charge\, with the expectation that the items will be returned to the Caregiver Closet (if they are reusable) when they are no longer needed\, so they can be redistributed. \nThe Caregiver Closet can include\, at any given time\, canes\, walkers\, commodes\, shower benches\, crutches\, hospital beds\, lift chairs\, Hoyer lifts\, and so much more. All equipment is clean and ready to go in “as is” condition. \nEquipment and supply use are free. Donations are tax deductible.

They will get to experiment with safe\, age-appropriate AI tools and even co-create simple projects using AI as a helper\, not a replacement for their own ideas. We emphasize responsible AI use\, never encourage cheating\, and promote ethical\, creative engagement. Students are taught how to think with AI\, not to let it think for them.
