DESCRIPTION:Open Swim and Lap Swim through Park Rapids Community Ed. No Swimming on Holidays \nOpen Swim: Is available for ages 7 and older. Younger students can swim if an adult is in the water with him/her. Please come dressed in your suit\, bring your towel and goggles (if you want) and be ready for some fun! You are encouraged to come dressed in your suit but the locker rooms will be available. Pre-registration is required. Must register by Wed. before open swim. DESCRIPTION:Lots of Finnish fun with this celebration of Finnish-American heritage. Friday night opening ceremonies including the St. Urho proclamation and the crowing of 2026 St Urho King and Queen with an evening of polka type music to follow. Saturday starts off with the pancake breakfast by pine cone 4H\, followed by the changing of the guards Nytes of St Urho\, the St. Urho Days parade\, and the Grasshopper hunt. Businesses around Menahga will also be having St. Urho specials so be sure to stop by The Cotty\, Northbound Spirits\, and the VFW.
