Northwoods Triathlon

All participants receive an event t-shirt.  All finishers receive a medallion.  Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three males and females in each age group. Top three overall finishers, both male and female, will be excluded from age group awards.  Relay Team Awards will be presented to the first place male, female and coed relay teams.  There are no elite division awards.

The 22nd Annual Northwoods Triathlon is sponsored by the Nevis Civic and Commerce Assoc. The Civic and Commerce will use the proceeds from this event within the surrounding community to support the health and wellness of its residents.

Kids running races will be offered for 3 to 11 year olds. Participants should meet at the Muskie playground at 10:15 a.m. for registration.  Races begin at 10:30 on the Heartland Trail.  There is no fee to participate.  All kids receive a participant ribbon and frozen treat.  Top 3 in each age group receive a ribbon.  For safety purposes all children must wear athletic shoes, no flip flops or sandals.
Age groups:
3 & 4 year olds (60-75 meters)
5 & 6 year olds (100 meters)
7 & 8 year olds (200 meters)
9, 10 & 11 year olds (400 meters)
