Aerial Sling

Ages 8-18

The aerial sling, also known as an aerial hammock, is a versatile apparatus. It is similar to aerial silks (such as in Cirque Du Soleil) but it is one piece of fabric, looped at the bottom and easier to start with. Participants will learn basic placements and transitions of this relatively new art form in this upbeat class which includes warm up, cool down and stretching. Pull up strength is not a requirement, but this class may inspire you to strengthen your core and upper body!
Wear tight fitting clothing with a t-shirt long enough to be tucked in and that covers the armpits. Students must wipe off their feet and remove all jewelry before using the fabrics.
*Please plan to arrive 10 – 15 minutes prior to class.
*Parent/Guardian signature required for anyone under 18.
