Marcie Rendon is a Native American author, playwright, and community arts activist known for her contributions to literature, particularly in the crime fiction genre.
Rendon is best known for her Cash Blackbear Mystery series which features a young Ojibwe woman as the protagonist. Her debut novel, Murder on the Red River, won the Pinckley Prize for Debut Crime Fiction in 2018. The series has been praised for its authentic representation of Native culture and its engaging storytelling.
