Northern Dental Access Center Open House
September 19 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
FreeNorthern Dental Access Center is excited to invite you to an Open House on September 19, in celebration of our newest community dental clinic in Park Rapids!
In April, Northern Dental Access Center acquired the Community Dental
Clinic operated by CHI-St. Joseph’s Health and over the past months the operation has fully
transitioned to a fourth Northern Dental Access Center clinic site. Members of the community,
leaders, patients and all—are invited to an Open House to celebrate on Thursday, September
19, 2024 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Visitors can tour the facility, meet with staff and learn
about the services provided by this nonprofit organization.
“It’s been an exciting and gratifying transition and we’ve enjoyed such a warm welcome from
all parts of this wonderful community,” says long time Executive Director, Jeanne Larson.
“We’re here to serve people in need with dental care, and we would love for interested people to
come visit and learn about our work.”
Northern Dental Access Center provides access to dental care for people in need, primarily
focused on those enrolled in Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care. Patients from the previous
Park Rapids Community Dental Clinic can easily continue their care; others can access dental
care through cash discounts offered, based on income eligibility. Information about making an
appointment or for career opportunities can be found at www.northerndentalacces.org
Northern Dental Access Center opened in Bemidji in 2009, adding a satellite clinic in Halstad in
2018 and a third site in Bagley in 2023. Together they will host 30,000 patient appointments a
year, with families traveling from all over northwest Minnesota. The organization is governed by a regional Board of Directors and in 2022, it was named Outstanding Rural Health
Organization by the National Rural Health Association.
