Snowshoe or Boot Hike
March 14 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Grab some snowshoes or snow boots (depending on snow conditions) and head down Schoolcraft Trail with a park naturalist and explore late winter from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14. Meet at the Mary Gibbs Mississippi Headwaters Center. Hike will be between 1 and 1 1/2 miles in length. All experience levels are welcome! This snowshoe hike is dependent on snow depth. If not enough snow, it will become a snow boot walk. Dress in layers and wear snow boots. SNOWSHOES: A limited number of snowshoes is available to use during this program. Prior to the program, contact naturalist Sandra if you need to reserve a pair at Sandra.d.lichter@state.mn.us or 218-699-7252.
